Botox was FDA approved in 1989, but only became FDA approved for cosmetic indications in 2002. Although cosmetic injectables are becoming less taboo, many people feel lost in this relatively new world of aesthetic medicine.  

 

As a provider in the aesthetic realm, I understand the frustration of not having reliable sources readily available to learn more about various treatments and products in the inundated world of skincare and anti-aging products and services.

 

I have utilized Instagram as a platform to help educate on aesthetic medicine for the past two years, and found it does help shed light….. if you read the caption. Commonly requested topics seem to get lost in post feeds or skipped over in stories and can make it difficult to reference.

 

My hopes in starting this blog is to have a catalog of information that is easy to read and reference that lives on my website. I always appreciate content requests and my goal is to help you feel you can make sound choices to age gracefully, healthy and safely.
