WHAT IS BOTOX?

Botox Cosmetic is made to relax the muscles underneath the skin in order to soften the lines created by repetitive facial muscle movements. Smoking, sun damage and genetics further contribute to these early signs of aging and over time, these lines become deep creases and wrinkles that can make you appear unhappy and years older. Prices for Botox reflects the total amount per appointment and is as follows: $13 per unit, 20 units minimum.

PRIOR TO PROCEDURE

Prior to the procedure, you will have a consultation with our experienced injector to examine your skin, review your medical history and explain the Botox procedure and what to expect. Once established that you are a good candidate for Botox we will create a tailored treatment plan and recommend the appropriate amount of units.  

WHAT TO EXPECT + POST CARE

Treatments can be performed in under 15 minutes and you may return to your daily activities keeping in mind post care instructions such as no laying down or lifting for 6 hours and no exercising for the rest of the day.

You will begin to notice decreased movement in as soon as 3 days, however you will see the full effect of the treatment after 14 days. On average, most patients return for treatment every 3 months. Bruising at the injection site is possible, to help decrease this risk please avoid alcohol, NSAIDS (must be cleared by your PCP), fish oils, garlic and, ginkgo biloba. Please plan your appointments at least 2 weeks for any event, and 4 weeks if it your first time getting Botox Cosmetic.
